Buying a stairlift is only the start. What matters over the years that follow is that it works every morning and every night, and that someone answers when you need help. As a local family business, Stairlift Solutions looks after the county from its office at Maydown Industrial Estate (15A Carrakeel Drive, BT47 6UQ), caring for customers right across County Londonderry, from the city and Limavady out to Coleraine, Dungiven, Magherafelt and the villages in between.
Our work does not stop at the sale. We offer:
The range takes in straight and curved stairlifts for indoor and outdoor use, and you can choose between new, reconditioned and ex-rental lifts. Whichever you pick, a full warranty is in place from the day of fitting, and our customer care line takes calls 24/7, so a problem late on a Sunday is never something you have to sit out alone.
Getting started costs nothing. We arrange a FREE survey at your house, where an experienced member of the team assesses your stairs and then explains the results so you understand your choices.
People come back to us because our lifts are good quality and the prices are reasonable, and because the same company that fits the lift keeps it serviced afterwards. If you would like extra protection beyond the standard cover, an extended warranty can be added too.
To book a survey anywhere in the county, call 02871 168 158.

Brooks Slimline Stairlifts
Brooks built the Slimline to work reliably for a long time on straight stairs, and it is frequently available reconditioned. Journeys begin and end softly, remote controls are included, and at the close of each trip the DC power packs recharge on their own.
Brooks 180 Curved Stairlifts
Designed specifically for curved staircases, the Brooks 180 can be fitted on either the inner or outer side of the curve. It carries over the reliability and the features that Brooks straight lifts are known for.
HomeGlide Stairlifts
Reliable and robust, the HomeGlide keeps things simple on straight stairs: the basic features, a safe ride and a swift installation, all at a very competitive price. It glides quietly along the rail. Our installers fit it in homes across County Londonderry.
HomeGlide Extra Stairlifts
Step up to the HomeGlide Extra for more options on a straight staircase. Fabrics and colours are yours to choose, the elegant chair stays compact, and the aluminium rail goes in neatly and discreetly. Specialist advice and fitting come with it.
Flow X Curved Stairlifts
Following on from the Flow 2A, which won awards for ThyssenKrupp, the Flow X stands among the leading stairlifts on the world market. Its German engineering and latest technology sit on a single rail, which allows it to fit almost any stairway in a home or a business.
Bespoke Synergy
Compact and detailed in its design, the Synergy from Bespoke is a straight stairlift that is easy for anyone to operate. Features are hidden neatly out of view, and the rail ranks among the world's slimmest, keeping the lift unobtrusive.
Bespoke Infinity
With British quality and comfort, the Bespoke Infinity lets you live independently on curved stairs with minimum assistance. Standard cover includes a 2-year warranty on parts, and we provide expert guidance and installation in Londonderry.
Acorn Stairlifts
As a well-known make, Acorn is one of the most requested names among reconditioned stairlifts. Simple to use, simple to service and of top quality, it is a lift that is straightforward to keep running for years.
Reconditioned Stairlifts
Because we buy back lifts we installed ourselves, our stock of reconditioned straight stairlifts is a full one. Prices depend on age, condition and remaining warranty, from £950 installed. Before refitting, every one is tested, cleaned, checked and given a full service, and most look almost new.
Rental Stairlifts
Short-term needs suit our rental scheme, for example while a relative stays with you or during recovery from an illness. Take a lift for 6 months or 12 months, then return it at the end of the term.
Outdoor Stairlifts
Our outdoor stairlift for external straight flights is made by Brooks and operates in the same way as the indoor version. It is built from components meant for outside, under a durable plastic casing that guards it against light, heat, snow and rain, at homes and businesses alike.
Extended Warranties
Even very reliable lifts can need an unforeseen repair. With an extended warranty, breakdowns and repairs are taken care of, which is part of the after-sales care we give, and our team is on hand 24/7 if anything goes wrong.
Mobility Scooters
For trips around the town or to the shops, take a look at our mobility scooters. The range is wide and includes Sterling, Invacare, Supascoota and more. Phone our experts for help choosing.
Riser Recliners
Riser recliners, plus high seat chairs, from Royams, the British family firm known for personalised service over almost 40 years. Each chair uses the Patented Lift, has battery backup and carries a 5-year motor and mechanism guarantee, in Petite, Standard or Kingsize with your pick of fabrics and frames. Delivery available across County Londonderry.
Rollators
Coopers rollators bring together design, comfort, safety and quality in a lightweight frame for indoor and outdoor walking. Choose the model, size and colour, and we will have it delivered to your home.

Ease of operation, dependability and quality make BREEZY standard manual wheelchairs a sound choice. They fold, the frame can be steel or aluminium, and testing makes sure every ride is stable.
Powered Wheelchairs
